We aim to support innovative ideas which empower people to create positive change in Massey and beyond.
OUR WHAKAPAPA
Massey Community Trust was established in 2003 to provide resources and leadership for effective services and programmes that deliver wholeness in mind, body, and spirit to individuals and whānau in Massey, West Auckland.
Massey Community Trust aims to mobilise the resources available within our community to meet the needs in the community. We want to break down the barriers of social isolation and fear to foster healthy relationships between families and their neighbours, their schools, their churches and the social services in Massey. We want to create a sense of safety and security, recognising that this is an important step to helping families address issues of poverty, violence, drug and alcohol misuse, gambling addictions, abuse, and mental health struggles.
MCT was initially involved in providing resources and governance for Westside Counselling Services. It has since been involved in offering a variety of initiatives aimed at relieving hardship and building resilience within families and the wider Massey community.
